Faith is Daszkal Bolton’s State and Local Tax (SALT) Practice Leaser. She has more than thirty years of SALT experience which encompasses income/franchise, sales and use, personal income, escheat (unclaimed property) and locally imposes taxes. She provides consultations for the purpose of limiting the state tax impact of corporate decisions and activities. Faith focuses on state and local tax issues for multi-state corporations, including nexus/jurisdiction for tax, economic and affiliate nexus, unitary business principal, gross receipts definition, and apportionment issues. Faith assists companies with mergers, acquisitions and dispositions with multi-state interests; and she represents companies with multistate tax voluntary disclosures and state and local tax audits. In addition, Faith works with individuals changing residency to Florida including handling state residency audits.
Prior to joining Daszkal Bolton, Faith worked as a Senior Tax Manager for the Washington National Tax practice of KPMG LLP and a Senior Tax Manager with Ernst & Young, where she was responsible for developing and expanding a multi-state tax practice in South Florida. Faith started her State and Local Tax career in New York City with PWC.
