Teri M. Kaye, a tax partner with Daszkal Bolton, has joined the board of directors of Helping, Abused, Neglected and Disadvantaged Youth (HANDY), a Fort Lauderdale based not-for-profit.
HANDY strives “to embrace, educate and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged and productive adults.” The organization was founded in 1985 and has met the needs of more than 50,000 children in Broward County over these years. Each year, HANDY reaches more than 1,300 at-risk children between the ages of nine and 25 who are in foster, relative and non-relative care.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to impact children in our community,” says Kaye. “With tremendous leadership, a skeletal team, and incredible dedication, HANDY has helped shape thousands of lives young lives for the better. I congratulate them on making such a positive difference over these years and look forward to having a role in its continued impact in the future.”
