The Southern Florida Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) has invited Sharon Bradley and Scott Walters of Daszkal Bolton to present at their annual continuing professional education (CPE) seminar on May 29, 2015.

The CPE seminar offers certified public accountants five hours of CPE credit. While there is not any cost to attend, the organization’s events are by invitation only.

FEI Southern Florida was formed in 1957 and is comprised of senior finance professionals across many industries.

The upcoming CPE seminar will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and feature a full afternoon of sessions.

The Daszkal Bolton professionals were invited to present an accounting and SEC update. They will cover regulatory updates that impact both private and public companies. Other topics to be covered during the program include information on the private equity group (PEG) industry and cybersecurity. Tax updates and session on fair value accounting will also be covered.

Sharon “Sherry” Bradley, CPA, has more than ten years of experience in public accounting and is an audit partner with Daszkal Bolton. Bradley has leads the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit practice and assists nonpublic companies and not-for-profit organizations with their internal controls, analytical reviews and audits.

Scott Walters, CPA, serves on the executive committee for Daszkal Bolton and is the firm’s Audit and Assurance Services Leader. Walters specializes in U.S. GAAP compliance and SEC rules and regulations. Prior to joining Daszkal Bolton, he worked for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C.
