Daszkal Bolton is honored to be named a 2015 Best Place to Work by the South Florida Business Journal in the medium sized company category for the third consecutive year.

The annual rankings of best places to work in the region begin with nominations and subsequent votes by employees at each company. With the vast majority of Daszkal Bolton employees casting a vote to endorse our firm as a best place to work again this year, we are particularly proud of our workplace environment.

“Public accounting firms have long been characterized by long hours and stress,” says Michael Daszkal, Managing Partner. “This is not an industry often thought of when it comes to flexibility or empowerment. Our firm has always sought to be different though. We have spent the last 23 years working to foster a workplace where talent is recognized and fostered and where taking initiative is rewarded. It is humbling to have your colleagues recognize all that we do collectively to create a cohesive culture built around our entrepreneurial thought processes.”

Ray Saller, Director of Human Resources, says that it “starts with the tone from the top. Our senior leaders set that tone with an open door policy. They regularly seek out feedback from all levels of staff and encourage everyone to voice an opinion and to take initiative. Additionally, we seek to be continuous learners who learn from others in our industry and outside of it.”

What makes Daszkal Bolton unique in the accounting industry is its entrepreneurial culture and creative thinking. The firm extends a promise to its clients that it will add strength to their operations and maintain a focus on helping them “conquer new ground.” By making this sentiment much more than a slogan and by focusing on helping clients achieve their goals, Daszkal Bolton maintains a forward looking orientation.

Furthermore, the firm’s culture is to encourage the same mindset when it comes to employees setting individual goals. Daszkal Bolton looks to create a workplace of opportunity for growth and development where everyone at the firm is encouraged to look ahead and work toward accomplishing long-term goals.
