Teri was appointed to the Executive Committee for Daszkal Bolton in June 2016. In this role, she helps to steer and set strategy for the firm. Additionally, Teri is a Tax Partner with more than twenty years of experience in public accounting. She is responsible for managing the tax planning and compliance needs of high net worth individuals, as well as emerging and small to mid-size companies. Teri also has significant experience in State & Local Tax (SALT) and International Tax (inbound/outbound) matters.
Prior to joining Daszkal Bolton, Teri was affiliated with local and national accounting firms focusing on tax solutions for individuals, corporations and other organizations. Teri’s expertise includes tax consulting, planning, and structuring for individuals and companies interested in acquiring businesses or property. In addition, she has significant experience representing clients in examinations and inquiries before the Internal Revenue Service, Florida Department of Revenue, U.S. Department of Labor, and other state tax and regulatory agencies.
Teri earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Teri is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant through the State of Florida.
Teri serves on the board of directors of Helping, Abused, Neglected and Disadvantaged Youth (HANDY), a Fort Lauderdale based not-for-profit. Additionally, she serves as a board member and treasurer for the South Florida Manufacturer’s Association (SFMA). Teri is also active with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance. She previously served on the finance committee and the board of directors for the Leadership Broward Foundation as well as on the Broward College Accounting Advisory Board and the 1st United Bank Executive Council of Broward County.
Teri was recognized as a Woman Extraordinaire by Business Leader Magazine in 2012 for her contributions to the industry and the community as well as the advancement of women in the workplace.
