Sandy focuses on tax minimization strategies and retirement planning for high net worth individuals and business owners. He has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting. His area of corporate expertise consists of tax planning and compliance, resolving complex tax issues relating to domestic transactions and investment activities, as well as state and local tax compliance. Sandy also assists clients with income tax planning and compliance, multi-year and transactional tax matters, as well as conflict resolution with state and federal taxing authorities. He has represented several clients during Internal Revenue Service Audits.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sandy worked at a large national CPA firm in South Florida as a Tax Accountant and Auditor, where he prepared federal income and state tax returns for various corporations and individuals. He also performed audit and review procedures, primarily for automotive dealerships.
Sandy received his Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago. Sandy is licensed as a CPA through the States of Florida and Illinois, and is a member of the FICPA. He is an active Trustee Member of the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce.
