Deana is a Partner and serves as the Private Client Services Leader for Daszkal Bolton. She has more than 15 years of experience working exclusively with high net worth individuals and their families in the design and implementation of comprehensive income tax, financial and estate planning solutions. Deana’s services include advanced income tax, wealth transfer and preservation planning, charitable giving and private foundations, real estate transactions and private aircraft consulting. Deana also assists clients with tax controversies and litigation support.
Deana began her career at one of the nation’s largest accounting firms. Subsequently, she served as a partner in the local office of national tax firm that specialized in tax services for high net worth families.
Deana has authored articles for several publications, including The Tax Adviser and The Lawyer. She has been a guest speaker for a number of organizations, including Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and University of Miami.
She serves as a board member of Adopt-a-Family of the Palm Beaches and is also the Chairperson of Adopt-a-Family’s Planned Giving Committee. She previously served on the advisory council to the president of a major global financial institution.
Deana was recognized as a Most Influential Business Woman by the South Florida Business Journal in 2015 for her leadership, impact on her industry, community involvement and business accomplishments throughout the preceding 12-18 months.
Deana earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University and a Juris Doctorate from Hofstra Law School. She is a member of the Florida Bar, a Certified Public Accountant, and has been designated as Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
