Colleen is a Principal in the Daszkal Bolton tax practice. With approximately 25 years of experience in public accounting; she works with closely-held businesses and high net worth individuals to minimize their total tax liability and enhance and sustain their profitability for a more successful future. In addition, Colleen assists clients with retirement and estate planning, expense reduction techniques, financial planning and Internal Revenue Service representation.

Prior to joining the firm as a Principal, Colleen was the founder and Managing Partner of DeWoody & Co., a boutique tax firm with expertise in international business, entrepreneurial services, real estate development and investment strategies. For nearly a decade, DeWoody & Co. served the North Palm Beach community as trusted advisors before merging into Daszkal Bolton. Colleen began her career with Ernst & Young where she rose to the level of tax manager in the real estate consulting group. During her time at the firm, Colleen took on the responsibilities of tax consulting within the development, construction hotel and hospitality industries.

Colleen earned a Master of Accountancy with a concentration in Tax and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida State University. In addition to her active participation in professional organizations, such as the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Bar Family Section, Colleen is also a community advocate. She is on the Board of Directors and the Assistant Treasurer for STOP! Children’s Cancer of Palm Beach County. Colleen is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches where she previously held positions on the Board of Directors and as the Treasurer.

Colleen is a licensed as a Certified Public Account through the State of Florida.
